Former Liverpool forward Darwin Nunez has reportedly been contacted by a surprise club over a return to European football.
Nunez, 26, moved to Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal from Liverpool last summer in a deal worth an initial £46.2 million.
He has scored nine goals in all competitions since his arrival in Saudi Arabia, but hasn't featured since February.
The Uruguay international was deregistered from Al Hilal's list of foreign players for the Saudi Pro League, which limits him to Asian Champions League appearances for the rest of the season.

He did feature off the bench during Uruguay's 1-1 draw against England last month.
It appears that his time in Saudi Arabia could already be coming to an end after just one season - and a European giant is keen on signing him.

That's according to Sky Sport Italia, who claim that Juventus are interested in bringing the striker back to Europe this summer.
It is claimed that Juve are 'already working on various options ahead of the summer transfer window' and have enquired about the possibility of signing Nunez.
Strikers Jonathan David and Lois Openda have been linked with moves away from the club, while Dusan Vlahovic is out of contract at the end of the season as things stand.
The Uruguayan was linked with a move to the Serie A club last summer before moving to Al Hilal.
Juve are not the Italian football powerhouses they once were, having only won one trophy since 2020, but remain Champions League regulars.
They are currently coached by Luciano Spalletti, who guided Napoli to the Scudetto in 2023.
Juve sit in fifth place in the current season's table, one point behind fourth-placed Como. Cesc Fabregas' side currently occupy the final Champions League qualification spot for Italian football.
Nunez's contract with Al Hilal lasts until the summer of 2028.
