Chelsea have only just been crowned World Champions but they are already looking to overhaul their squad ahead of the new season.
A 3-0 demolition of Paris Saint-Germain in New York saw Chelsea stun the favourites and win the FIFA Club World Cup, helped by new summer signings Joao Pedro and Liam Delap. Enzo Maresca's side now have a quick turnaround of less than a month before their first pre-season friendly and new Premier League season after a long campaign that lasted 11 months in total.
Having secured Champions League football for the upcoming season, Chelsea are looking to build on their Club World Cup success but must also trim their bloated squad. Kepa Arrizabalaga has already left for Arsenal while Noni Madueke is set to follow him to the Emirates. Goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic sealed a move to Bournemouth on Wednesday after missing the Club World Cup.

According to the Sun, as many as nine more players could leave before the transfer window closes, including one player who came off the bench in the Club World Cup final at the weekend.
They say that Christopher Nkunku, a rumoured target of Manchester United, is set to leave with his last appearance potentially coming in the stunning win over PSG. The Frenchman started three times in the tournament and scored once but remains up for sale. Joao Felix and Raheem Sterling, both left at home this summer, are said to be available for sale or a loan, with Benfica interested in re-signing Felix and Chelsea placing a £35 million price tag on him.
“If we could bring back players from our academy who have the quality and prominence that a player like Joao has, we would all like that," said Benfica president Rui Costa according to Standard Sport. “All Benfica fans would like that. The amounts involved, both in transfers and salaries, are very high and we have to respect that part.”

Ben Chilwell, Renato Veiga, Axel Disasi, Carney Chukwuemeka, Lesley Ugochukwu and Armando Broja are also said to be available for sale ahead of the new season having spent time out on loan last season. It is added that Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is not actively on the transfer list but Chelsea are also open to offers.
Maresca's side have also added Jamie Gittens from Borussia Dortmund ahead of the new season as their high-spending approach continues for another summer.
