Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo has reportedly decided on which Premier League club he wants to join this summer.

Mbeumo, 25, went from strength to strength in what proved to be an outstanding 2024/25 Premier League campaign for the France-born Cameroon international.

The Brentford man produced 20 goals and seven assists in 38 top-flight games and has attracted the interest of several top clubs.

In May, Bees head coach Thomas Frank admitted that although the player was “happy” that he could still be sold at the “right price”.

When speaking to Sky Sports, Frank said: “I know that Bryan is very happy being here at Brentford, he's thriving, doing well and playing fantastic. What happens in the future? I don't know.

“I've said many times: we are a selling club. But at the same time, we have to reinforce that there are 10 clubs in the world who aren't selling clubs."

He added: “Of course, if the right price - and that's going to be expensive - is coming, then I'm sure the club will be open for it.”

On Monday (June 2), The Athletic’s David Orstein reported that the player had decided on his future destination.

“Bryan Mbeumo has decided he wants to join Manchester United, and the Old Trafford club is set to open talks with Brentford as they pursue an agreement to sign the forward this summer,” Orstein wrote.

Earlier on Monday, journalist Fabrizio Romano reported that United were one of three Premier League sides who are interested in the forward.

“Bryan Mbeumo at Brentford is a player they [Manchester United] like," Romano said on his YouTube channel.

“For sure, he remains on the list. But they know they are not alone. There are several clubs interested: Newcastle, Arsenal, many clubs.

“Man United, Newcastle and Arsenal are all clubs monitoring the player. Let’s see what is going to happen there with Bryan Mbeumo.”

The 25-year-old joined the west London club from French side Troyes in 2019 and has registered 70 goals and 51 assists in 242 appearances for the Bees.

Mbeumo plays mostly as a right forward but has also featured centrally for Brentford at times.
