A Premier League player has been recorded on video stating that he wants to play for Manchester United.
Michael Carrick was appointed as interim manager at Old Trafford on Tuesday, signing a deal until the end of the season.
The 44-year-old former United midfielder will be assisted by Steve Holland, Jonathan Woodgate, Jonny Evans and U21 head coach Travis Binnion.
According to ESPN, the club have not ruled out January signings under Carrick's interim charge, and are interested in a move for Al Hilal midfielder Ruben Neves.

Former Wolves captain Neves, who is believed to earn around £300,000 in Saudi Pro League, is said to be available for around £20 million.

Despite the turbulence at Old Trafford over recent years since the Glazer family took over as owners in 2005, it is still an attractive club for players across the world.
And a current Premier League player has admitted he would love to play for United.

Brentford midfielder Frank Onyeka, who is currently at the Africa Cup of Nations with Nigeria, has been filmed telling a fan that he wants to sign for United.
In the clip, he was asked if he wants to come and play for Manchester United, to which he laughed: "Of course I want to play for Manchester United!"
When the fan added that Ruben Amorim had been sacked, Onyeka replied: "Yeah, yeah... I know that."

Although the comments appeared to be very much tongue-in-cheek, some Brentford fans were not particularly impressed that their own player expressed a desire to join a fellow Premier League club.
Onyeka could leave the Bees in January regardless, as he has had little playing time this season.

Journalist Ben Jacobs reported in the summer that he was attracting interest from newly-promoted Premier League side Burnley, as well as Stuttgart and Fiorentina.

The 28-year-old, who joined Brentford from Midtyjlland in 2021, has not started a Premier League match all season, with both of his starts coming in the Carabao Cup.
He has, however, started five of Nigeria's seven matches at AFCON, including their semi-final clash against Morocco.
