Antoine Semenyo's 'dream move' has been revealed, with the Bournemouth winger being linked with a big-money transfer to Liverpool.

Semenyo has made a fantastic start to the Premier League season, scoring six goals and registering three assists in the first eight games.

Despite losing their goalkeeper and three defenders over the summer, Andoni Iraola's side have built on last season's ninth-placed finish and currently sit fourth in the table.

Semenyo was also linked with a move away from the south coast during the summer, with Manchester United reportedly among the clubs interested.

However, he instead chose to sign a new five-year deal at the Vitality Stadium, keeping him at Bournemouth until 2030.

Even with that new contract, Semenyo's continued strong form has reignited speculation surrounding his future.

Mark Douglas of The Independent has reported that Liverpool are considering a January move for the Ghanaian winger.

He also claims there is a release clause in Semenyo's contract, which would make a deal easier to complete.

However, with Liverpool having spent more than £400 million over the summer, it remains to be seen whether a deal for the Bournemouth forward is realistic.

The Reds already have plenty of attacking options with Alexander Isak and Hugo Ekitike added to a forward list that already boasts Cody Gakpo, Mo Salah and Federico Chiesa, as well as wonderkid Rio Ngumoha.

Another club linked with Semenyo's signature are the Premier League leaders Arsenal.

Last year, the forward admitted that he supported Arsenal, so a move to North London would be particularly appealing.

Semenyo added: "I don’t let that conflict with my job.

"It’s great to play against Arsenal, a team I’ve watched all my life.

"I want to play for the top clubs as well, but for that to happen, I need to prove myself."

Semenyo would likely be confident about securing plenty of gametime at Arsenal, with no player yet to establish themselves as Mikel Arteta's first-choice left winger.

Leandro Trossard scored the winner at Craven Cottage over the weekend, while Gabriel Martinelli has also featured on that side.

Before his injury, Noni Madueke also operated on the left, but he prefers to play from the right, where he is able to cut inside.

Arsenal spent another £250 million during the summer, bringing their total expenditure under Arteta since 2019 to a huge £900 million.

It remains to be seen whether a deal is viable for Semenyo, but he would be a huge upgrade for Arsenal and the forward is reportedly keen on a move to the Emirates.
