Newcastle United have reportedly issued a final transfer ultimatum to unsettled striker Alexander Isak just hours after admirers Liverpool lost the Community Shield.
Isak, who still has three years left on his current deal at St James' Park, has expressed a desire to make a move away from the Magpies after his best season for the club - where he scored 27 goals in 42 appearances across all competitions.
Isak was part of the side which beat Liverpool in last season's Carabao Cup final and he also helped the club finish fifth in the Premier League, with the Magpies set to play Champions League football this season.
Isak first joined Newcastle back in 2022 for a reported club record fee of £63m from Spanish side Real Sociedad and has netted 62 goals in 109 games across three seasons since then.
