Alexander Isak has already rejected monstrous offers to leave Newcastle United as Fabrizio Romano has provided a huge update.
Isak's name continues to dominate the transfer rumour mill and speculation intensified after he told Newcastle that he wants to explore his options this summer.
The star forward hasn't travelled to Asia for his team's pre-season tour of Singapore, with Eddie Howe speaking out on the transfer rumours linking him with a stunning switch to Liverpool.
The Premier League champions are keeping tabs on Isak's situation despite splashing out £69 million to sign Hugo Ekitike from Eintracht Frankfurt.

Funds are available to sign him even though the Reds have spent almost £300 million during the transfer window.
But Liverpool aren't the only club interested in signing Isak from Newcastle.

Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal want to lure the 25-year-old to the Middle East and tabled a mega contract worth a reported £600,000-a-week.

According to Romano, however, Isak has 'turned down Saudi options' as he wants to remain at the highest level in Europe.
There are no talks taking place between the player and Al Hilal.
And Romano claims Liverpool are in 'concrete talks' for Isak.
On X, he wrote: "There’s nothing ongoing between Alexander Isak and Al Hilal now.

"Isak has already turned down Saudi options, he said no as his wish remains to play at the highest level in Europe.
"The real club in concrete talks for Isak was, is and remains Liverpool."

Newcastle are in Asia for their pre-season tour without Isak and Howe was asked about the Swede ahead of their game against Arsenal on Sunday.

When asked if he wanted a quick resolution to the situation, he replied: "I wouldn't put a timescale on it. I think with these situations it has to be right for the football club, and everything then is taken into context below that.
"But the club will make the right decision with all the information that it has, and ultimately to try and move the club forward in whatever way that is. Then it's up to us to make good decisions the other way and try and improve the squad as best we can. That’s what we're trying to do, regardless of Alex's situation.
"But I think there's a wider picture here. There's a whole football club that has to make the decision. The ownership, together with the board of directors, especially with the money involved in modern day transfers.
"The manager of course has an opinion, but ultimately the decision will rest with the board."
