Everything you need to know about Tottenham vs Wolves

The third week of the Premier League season kicks off this afternoon as Wolves head to North London to face Spurs.

It has been an extremely poor start to the campaign for the visitors. Their 2-1 defeat to Leeds and their 0-0 draw with Fulham has left Bruno Laga’s side sitting at 14th ahead of this today's proceedings.

At the other end of the table, Spurs fans will be pleased to see their side in 4th place.

It has been an impressive opening to the season for the Lilywhites and their emphatic win against Southampton and gritty draw at Stamford Bridge have shown they will be a difficult side to beat this year.

Last time these two teams met, Wolves raced to a 2-0 win and they will undoubtedly be hoping for a similar result this year in order to grab their first victory of the new campaign.

Tottenham vs Wolves team news:

Despite spending big this summer on six signings, Antonio Conte is yet to give any of his new players their first start.

Clement Lenglet was unavailable for selection last week due to a fatigue issue but the Frenchman has recovered and will be hoping to make his full Premier League debut today.

Spurs will still be without midfielder Oliver Skipp who continues to suffer from a heel injury that may rule him out until the end of the month.

Although Raul Jimenez has returned to training after a slight ligament strain, he will be unable to play against Tottenham. However, the good news for Wolves fans is that their exciting new signing, Matheus Nunes, is fit and eager to play this weekend.
