Toni Kroos is ‘obsessed’ with achieving one final objective at Real Madrid ahead of a potential summer exit from Los Blancos, according to reports in Spain.
The 33-year-old German midfielder arrived in the Spanish capital in 2014 after leaving Bayern Munich, with Los Blancos paying a reported £23m (€25m) fee.
Kroos has remained a crucial influence in the Madrid midfield since his transfer and forged a formidable partnership with 2018 Ballon d’Or winner Luka Modric.
The former Germany international has lifted three La Liga titles, four Champions Leagues, three Spanish Super Cups, three UEFA Super Cups and five Club World Cups with Madrid.

Kroos is out of contract in the summer and the former Bayern star has been tipped to leave Madrid at the end of the season.
According to Marca, the Madrid midfielder has an ‘obsession’ with winning the Copa del Rey, which is the only major trophy that has alluded him at Los Blancos.
Madrid have reached the Copa del Rey semi-finals and suffered a 1-0 defeat to arch-rivals Barcelona at the Santiago Bernabeu in the first leg.
Los Blancos travel to the Camp Nou on Wednesday for the return leg in the Copa del Rey, which could prove to be Kroos’ last chance of capturing the trophy.
It is believed that Kroos is only willing to commit to a new deal if he ‘feels he is still an important part’ of the squad, with Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti a big admirer of him.
Kroos has made 403 appearances for Madrid and scored 27 times and registered 88 since his 2014 move.
The ex-Germany midfielder previously claimed that Madrid will be the final club in his career, but he added that he had not made a “final decision” on his playing career at the time.
Speaking on his ‘Einfach mal Luppen’ podcast in February, he said: “I will retire here [at Real Madrid], what happens is that I still do not know when it will be.
“Today, there is no final decision on my part.”
