Table Of How Full Each Premier League Ground Is Has Been Revealed

Manchester United could finally finish in the Premier League's top six and Manchester City might end the Emptyhad jibes.

The Emptyhad, home of the Premier League champions, or at least that's according to Manchester City's rival fans. But just how empty is City's stadium?

City might have climbed to the top of the mountain when it comes to dominating football in England, at least when it comes to trophies, but that doesn't stop them being mocked on a regular basis.

That's because as good as the club have become, from their humble start when they were taken over in 2008, the perception is they're still not as 'big' a club as rivals Liverpool or even the officially rubbish Manchester United.

One of the reasons for that is because they don't even fill their stadium, according to rival fans at least, with the Etihad being dubbed the Emptyhad.

But just how true is the claim? Well, according to Transfermarkt, the stadium originally built for the 2002 Commonwealth Games is in the bottom half when it comes to percentage of seats filled across the season.

This isn't based on how many tickets are sold, but how many of the people actually get through the turnstiles, and the percentage that is compared to their stadium's capacity.

1. Leicester City - Capacity: 32,273, average attendance: 31,940 - 99% full

This is definitely a more interesting alternative type of table, than the one that laughably had Liverpool top of the Premier League based on aggregate scores.

And at least now we know the Etihad isn't empty, it isn't completely full either and maybe you'd expect more from the league champions.

Perhaps Erling Haaland will be responsible for filling those last remaining seats, then what will we mock City for...oh yeah, the Champions League!
