Speed brutally mocks Trent Alexander-Arnold with 'defend' joke while streaming with the Liverpool star

Speed invited Alexander-Arnold on to his chaotic stream on Wednesday night.

Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold shared a stream with Speed on Wednesday night, and it was as chaotic as you might expect.

Alexander-Arnold was enjoying a night off after helping Liverpool beat Napoli 2-0 in the Champions League on Tuesday.

American streamer Speed has shot to fame over the last year, with 12.5 million people now subscribed to his YouTube channel.

Despite claiming to be a huge fan of Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo, Speed was seemingly happy to put his club allegiances to one side to steam with Liverpool star Alexander-Arnold.

After being alerted that Alexander-Arnold was online on Wednesday night, Speed sent the England international a message and somehow managed to convince him to set up a joint stream.

After a few minutes of chatting with Alexander-Arnold, Speed proceeded to list the right-back's stats on FIFA 23 to the amusement of the defender.

The pair then took each other on at a game of Fall Guys, with Alexander-Arnold coming out on top in one game.

His victory prompted Speed to shout "he defended?" - an apparent reference to the recent criticism of Alexander-Arnold's defensive capabilities.

The Liverpool man seemed to run out of patience with Speed's antics and announced he was about to leave, prompting the American to sing a song in an attempt to keep Alexander-Arnold on the stream.

Stream then proceeded to shout "defend, defend, defend" at the Liverpool man.

Not surprisingly, Alexander-Arnold swiftly left the stream, with Speed's fans quick to react on social media.

"He's the definition of menace and I love it," posted one fan on Twitter.

Another wrote: "Cmon Trent defend yourself bro."

Prompting another fan to reply: "He can't."

Alexander-Arnold is expected to feature when Liverpool return to Premier League action this weekend.

Jurgen Klopp's side travel to face Tottenham in north London on Sunday.

They will then face Derby County in the third round on Wednesday before hosting Southampton in the Premier League next Saturday in their final match before the season breaks for the winter World Cup in Qatar.
