YouTube star Speed attacked at Wembley watching FA Cup final

YouTube star IShowSpeed was attacked in the stands at the FA Cup final on Saturday.

The 18-year-old social media personality, real name Darren Watkins Jr., was in attendance for the FA Cup final at Wembley.

The American was in the stands to watch his favourite team Manchester United take on local rivals Manchester City, but was subject to an unprovoked attack.

Speed looked shocked when a fan attempted to hit him from a row in front, prompting a member of his team to grapple with the attacker.

Speed was caught on video exclaiming, "what the f**k? What did he just do, bro? Why he just put his hands on me bro, I didn't even touch him."

A clip of the unusual event has circulated on social media, with fans still none the wiser as to why he was attacked.

Unfortunately for Speed, his day didn't get much better, after his beloved Manchester United lost 2-1 to keep City's treble hopes alive.

Ilkay Gundogan was on the scoresheet after just 12 seconds, lashing home a sensational volley which left David De Gea rooted to the spot.

The Red Devils fought their way back, though, with Bruno Fernandes converting a controversial penalty from the spot.

However, Gundogan wasn't finished yet, as he produced another volley, this time off his left boot, which beat De Gea for the second time.

City face Inter Mian next in the Champions League final as Pep Guardiola looks to complete the treble.

Speed's love for Manchester United is thought to have started with his devotion to former player Cristiano Ronaldo.

The YouTube sensation even travelled to Qatar to watch Portugal play at the World Cup, only for Ronaldo to be named on the bench.

He has also played in a variety of YouTube charity matches, and while he is not quite at the level of the seven time Ballon d'Or winner yet, he boasts nearly 13 million subscribers on YouTube.
