Al-Nassr have offered a €20m per year contract to one Man Utd target with Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly desperate for the Saudi side to add to their squad.

Al Nassr have started the Saudi Pro League season unbeaten as they earned a 1-1 draw against Al-Raed and a 4-1 victory away to Al-Fayha, with Cristiano Ronaldo scoring in both fixtures.

Ronaldo's side will be hoping to go one better than they did last campaign as they finished the season in second, however, the Riyadh-based side were a significant 14 points adrift of league winners Al-Hilal.

In an attempt to strengthen their title hopes the club invested in the likes of Angelo from Chelsea, and Mohamad Simakan, but even with the transfer window shut there is still one man Al-Nassr have their eye on.

According to RMC Sport Al-Nassr have offered a €20 million per year contract to current free agent and French international Adrien Rabiot.

The report also claims Ronaldo is very keen for Rabiot to join, however, there is currently no indication whether Rabiot would be interested in the move to the Middle East.

While a move to Al-Nassr would likely give the former PSG star the biggest contract available, the 29-year-old has previously stated he would like to play in the Premier League and this could be his last chance.

He has previously said: "I have always said that I’d like to play in England in my career. I still have that desire.

"I’d like to evolve in the Premier League. It’s the league, it’s the level of play that’s going on, that’s what attracts me most. It corresponds to my qualities.

"I haven’t got a Premier League team in mind right now. I haven’t chosen a team or anything. It’s a general thing," he added.

Rabiot was very close to a move to Old Trafford in 2022 after a deal was agreed with Juventus, however, personal terms proved to be difficult to agree on.

Although United have reinforced their midfield with the signing of Manuel Ugarte, it was reported back in July by L'Equipe that the Premier League side had reignited their interest.
