A compilation of Cristiano Ronaldo’s 'highlights' for Al Nassr has gone viral.

Back in January, Ronaldo decided to ditch European football after his second spell with Manchester United ended in dramatic fashion.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner made a big-money move to Saudi Arabia as he signed for Al Nassr.

During the second half of the 22/23 season, Ronaldo made 19 appearances across all competitions for Al Nassr, scoring 14 and assisting twice.

Despite the respectable numbers, a compilation of Ronaldo’s worst highlights for Al Nassr has gone viral.

The video included some big misses, misplaced passes and mistimed touches.

Fans were quick to react on social media.

One said: “My god this guy is finished.”

Another tweeted: “Why does Ronaldo look like someone pretending to be good at soccer?”

However, some fans were quick to defend Ronaldo.

One wrote: “Why do you hate this guy so much, Bud just wants to play football and be happy.”

A second person added: “Posting a fail comp about a 38 yr old and a legend of the game. I don’t see them doing this to Zlatan or Messi it’s always Ronaldo.”

A third fan commented: “They keep hating, he keeps earning.”

In a recent interview, Ronaldo claimed that the Saudi Professional League is better than the MLS and that he will not return to European football.

He said: “The Saudi league is better than the MLS.

“I'm 100 per cent sure I won't return to any European club. They criticised me for coming to Saudi league, but what happened now? I opened the way to the Saudi league and now all the players are coming here.

“I won't return to European football, the door is completely closed.”

He added: “I'm 38-years-old, also European football has lost lot of quality. The only league that for me has a lot of quality and is at a higher level than all the others is the Premier League.”
