'Sign him for this interview alone' - Man United fans loved Marcel Sabitzer’s ice-cold interview after win over Fulham

Manchester United fans loved Marcel Sabitzer's 'cold' post-match interview following his side's victory over Fulham in the FA Cup.

Sabitzer scored in Man United's 3-1 win against Fulham as they booked their spot in the semi-finals of the competition.

He made it 2-1 when he brilliantly flicked home from Luke Shaw's pass in the 77th minute, bringing up his first goal for the club since his loan move from Bayern Munich in January.

But Man United supporters want him at Old Trafford next season and beyond after he showed off his elite mentality during his post-match interview.

The Austrian midfielder impressed fans online as he spoke to ITV after his team's cup win, insisting Man United deserved to advance in the FA Cup despite Fulham's implosion.

"Massive win. We wanted to go back to Wembley. Hard and tough but it was a good one," he said.

Asked by the reporter if Man United won the game or Fulham lost it, he replied: "We won it. Why not? We scored three, they scored one. We concentrated and were focused.

"I think we deserved the win. We had some chances that we missed. Second half, we were 1-0 down, but, as I said, we came back and that’s the important thing."

On scoring his first goal for Man United, he added: "Massive. I'm so happy. An important one. I'm very, very happy now."
