Manchester United fans have just noticed Casemiro's brilliant reaction to Marcel Sabitzer wanting to drop back and help in defensive duties.

Casemiro starred as Man United won their first trophy since 2017 after they beat Newcastle United 2-0 to win the Carabao Cup.

He opened the scoring at Wembley Stadium and dominated the middle of the park.

The Brazilian continued to impress after the final whistle as he berated Bruno Fernandes in a moment that earned Roy Keane's approval.

And Man United supporters appear to have only just realised the star midfielder's exchange with Sabitzer.

A clip has surfaced online which seems to show Sabitzer asking Casemiro if he needed him to drop back and help out defensively.

But the 31-year-old gestured to the Austrian, seemingly telling him he had everything under control.

Man United fans on social media loved Casemiro's boss-like reaction during the cup final.

One Twitter user wrote: "This guy don’t need an arm band to prove he’s the leader he’s just doing his thing naturally."

A second tweeted: "It’s little things like this that make me absolutely adore this man."

A third added: "We’ve needed a CDM for years and now we have one."

A fourth joked: "Like asking Messi if he needs help dribbling."

Another commented: "Even the facial expression says I got this."

Casemiro has been a revelation since joining the Old Trafford club from Real Madrid last summer.

He's transformed Man United this season, with Paul Scholes comparing him to Roy Keane.

"People say he's a holding midfield player - I don't see that. I think he does everything. He's as close to Roy Keane as I've seen," he said.

"As a Man United midfield player, you should be involved in everything. You should be able to play it forward, you should be able to play it past, and defend."
