Robbie Savage has snubbed Arsenal as he has named THREE teams that will challenge Manchester City for the Premier League title next season.

Man City were confirmed as English champions following Arsenal's shock defeat at Nottingham Forest on Saturday.

The Blues have now won three league titles on the bounce and will look to make it four in a row next season.

Despite Arsenal's title charge, Savage has overlooked Mikel Arteta's team when previewing next season's league campaign.

He believes Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool will challenge Pep Guardiola's side in the 2023/24 term.

"Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool are the three teams that can challenge Man City next season," he said on BBC Radio 5 Live.

"But they will need to come up with 95 points to run them close."

Arsenal enjoyed long spells at the top of the league, but ran out of steam in the run-in - crucially dropping points against the likes of Liverpool, West Ham United and Southampton.

Man City, on the other hand, have reeled off 12 consecutive wins since their draw against Forest to clinch their latest league title.

Savage reckons Man United, Chelsea and Liverpool will compete with Man City.

Erik ten Hag's team beat Man City earlier in the term, having mounted a brief title charge at the start of the year.

Liverpool have endured an underwhelming campaign, having gone toe-to-toe with Man City over the years. But Savage appears to be convinced they will be back to their best next season.

As for Chelsea, they've had a terrible campaign and are on course to finish in the bottom half of the table.

The club recruited heavily last summer and in the January transfer window, but to no avail with the likes of Graham Potter and Frank Lampard failing to get the best out of the team.

Will Man United, Liverpool and Chelsea challenge Man City next season? Let us know what you think.
