Mats Hummels you are the chosen one! For the summer of 2016 it looks like Bayern Munich's one draft pick from the Borussia Dortmund academy will be the centre back who originally was on their books.
Of course I'm being a bit flippant about the fact that every so often Bundesliga's best team by a country mile swoops in and sign a player from the country's second by team, also often by some distance to third place, to improve themselves, weaken their closest rival and make the league a less competitive place to be.
Recently there's been Robert Lewandowski and Mario Gotze and Hummels, who was released by Bayern as a youngster, looks to be the next one. Well we reckon this because his current club basically came out and said as much in a statement confirmed that he'd be heading out of the club in the summer.

However in a meeting with some fans outside of the training ground the centre back revealed he thought it was "sh***y" thing for the club to do and said that:
"This sh***y statement has made a misleading expression. I have no idea why they had to do it.
"Everything is possible and nothing is decided yet."
Whilst nothing might be decided just yet, as the player claims, we can't help but think a statement by the club and the player then calling said club out for it isn't exactly suggesting there's a long lasting relationship at hand here.

Hummels could always leave and not end up at the Allianz Arena but, call us cynics, we expect him to be rocking up to be welcomed by Carlo Ancelotti sometime this summer leaving Dortmund to once again plus the gaps made by their rivals.
The statement that Hummels was hitting back at read: "Defender Mats Hummels has communicated his desire to leave the club in the summer and join league rivals Bayern Munich next season," pretty unequivocal stuff.
