Richarlison should be BANISHED to train with Tottenham's under-18s following his outburst after his side's crushing Champions League elimination, claims Gabriel Agbonlahor.

Spurs crashed out of the Champions League after they lost 1-0 on aggregate to AC Milan on Wednesday.

Richarlison, who came off the bench but to no avail, delivered a scathing rant when he spoke to reporters after Spurs were dumped out of the competition.

He bemoaned Cristian Stellini's decision to bench him and claimed this season has been 'sh*t'.

The 25-year-old said: "Suddenly, [assistant boss Cristian Stellini] put me on the bench, against Wolverhampton he put me on for five minutes. I asked why? They didn’t tell me anything.

"Let’s see what [Conte] will say tomorrow, but there are no fools here either, I’m a professional, I work every day and I want to play. There are minutes left, time left."

He added: "This season, excuse the word, it’s been sh*t, because I don’t have minutes, I suffered a little with the injury. But, when I enter the field, I give my life. I came from two games well, I think that’s it, I think I should have played and I don’t have to cry about it."

Richarlison's furious post-match interview didn't go down well with Agbonlahor, who slammed the forward and highlighted his modest goal return for the club since his move from Everton.

The former Aston Villa forward also said he should be demoted to the under-18s because of his outburst.

"Richarlison, £60 million he cost. Premier League goals zero, assists, two," he exclaimed on talkSPORT.

"Always moaning, always rolling around on the floor.

"He’s come out and said he’s had a positive moment and says Conte put me on the bench. His positive moment is two games, zero goals - I don’t’ get it?

"Positive for £60m is a couple of goals, a couple of assists. So don’t be moaning when you’re not performing when you’re given a chance.

"If I’m Conte and Conte looks like that kind of manager, I’m sure his boots and kit are in the U18 dressing room this morning."

Like Agbonlahor mentioned, the Brazilian has scored just two goals this season and has yet to bag in the Premier League.

He's played 17 league games this campaign but has failed to find the back of the net. His two goals came in the Champions League, which his team are no longer involved in following their defeat to Milan.
