Brendan Rodgers barely has his feet under the table at Celtic and fans are already betting on Joe Allen being his first summer signing. The Liverpool midfielder is known to be a favourite of Rodgers, with the pair having worked together at Swansea as well as Anfield.
Allen has been something of a bit-part player for the Reds under current boss Jurgen Klopp, and admitted earlier this week that he is unsure about his future on Merseyside.
Of course Rodgers famously, and embarrassingly, referred to Allen as the Welsh Xavi when he signed the midfielder from Swansea.
A lot of people seem to be putting two and two together, and coming up with Allen in a Celtic shirt this summer, with a sizeable amount of supporters requesting odds on the move happening from bookies online:
Although Allen could well be out of the picture at Liverpool, he still cost them a whopping £15 million back in 2012, and the club would be looking for some sort of return on that.

On top of that, the Wales midfielder would probably be on a hefty wage, most likely out of Celtic's budget.
