Chelsea fans think they have discovered who Fabrizio Romano is discussing in terms of the ‘mystery attacker’ they are attacking.

So far in the summer transfer window, Chelsea have again spent big to bring in the likes of Moises Caicedo, Romeo Lavia, Nicolas Jackson and Malo Gusto.

However, the Blues have had a below-par start to the season after picking up just four points from nine.

Ahead of the summer transfer deadline day on Friday. It has been reported that Cheslea are looking to sign an unnamed attacker.

It has been said that the attacker was a Chelsea fan when he was growing up, and has played in the no.10 role, left-wing, right-wing and centre forward.

According to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, ‘Chelsea are already preparing something, preparing negotiations in the next days.’

Fans think they have worked out who the ‘mystery attacker’ could be.

One fan said: “I have a feeling that the mystery attacker that Fabrizio is teasing will be Jadon Sancho.

• United are interested in Cucurella.

• Poch wants PL experience.

• Need someone who can play #10/wing.

• Joe Shields is a huge fan of him.

You connect the dots and it makes sense.”

Reacting to the fan’s theory, another supporter said: “I would rather take Joao Felix back than have Jadon Sancho at Chelsea.”

Someone else wrote: “Sancho is an interesting option. Wages would need to be reduced and I don’t think he’s dynamic enough as a winger in the PL. Very creative though and I think he could do well in the #10 position.”

A third commented: “No way Chelsea think Ten Hag is giving them this baller. Jadon Sancho is red, thick and thin.”

Another fan added: “Wait, people would be happy with Jadon Sancho at Chelsea? In the last 2 season's he's played 79 matches across all competitions, scored 12 goals & provided 6 assists.”

Thoughts on Sancho moving to Chelsea? Let us know in the comments.
