In life, there are certain moments that make you feel old. Fernando Torres turning the ripe old age of 34 is one of those hard-hitting moments that makes you think 'wow, where did time go?'
The question remains: how on earth is this baby-faced assassin so old?
11 years ago, Torres signed for Liverpool on a six-year deal for a fee believed to be £20 million and that alone feels like it happened last week.
Torres flourished under the management of Rafael Benitez and went on to become one of the best striker's in their history, scoring 33 goals in his first season at the club.

As we all know Torres joined Chelsea in 2011 for £50 million, which was a British record at the time, and the rest is history. He never quite reached the expectations set for him at Stamford Bridge.
But he will always be remembered for 'that' goal against Barcelona in the Champions League. I'm talking to you, Mr Neville.
Can you believe Torres is 34? No, me neither.
