Somebody Has Created An All-Time Table Of Most Trophies Won In World Football
Barcelona and Real Madrid both secured their spots in the top ten most successful football clubs in the world.
Goal compiled the list of teams from around the world and Barça's 91-trophy haul has helped them secure sixth place.
But Los Blancos, who endured a disappointing season, have fallen one short of their fierce rivals and ended up in seventh place.
The team that came out on top of the list is Egyptian side Al Ahly, who have won 118 trophies since their formation in 1907.
Al Ahly, dubbed the 'Club of the Century,' has won the Egyptian championship 40 times and also holds 36 Egyptian cup wins to their name, according to Transfermarkt.
But three trophies shy of the Egyptian side is Rangers, who have 115 honours to their name.
Uruguay's Club Nacional de Football (113) and Atlético Peñarol (108) are third and fourth respectively, while Celtic holds down fifth place with 105 trophies.
Representing Portugal in the top ten include Benfica (82) at eighth and Porto (74) at tenth, with Greece's Olympiacos (75) holding down ninth.
England is represented in the top 20 with Manchester United coming in at 12th with 71 trophies and Liverpool at 18th with 59 trophies.
Other top clubs from Europe making the list include Ajax (70) in 13th, Bayern Munich (70) at 14th and Juventus (63) at 15th.
