Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford has reportedly signed a new four year deal that will see him earn a massive £300,000 a week.

The 21-year-old, who was said to be on £80,000 a week last season, is set to be on a similar pay package to Paul Pogba at Old Trafford.

Rashford's new contract, that has the option of a fifth year, is understood to include a number of performance-related targets, according to The Telegraph.

If he delivers those expectations, he is set to earn in excess of £300,000 a week.

It is believed that United will announce Rashford's new deal before their pre-season tour in Australia.

Last week, it was reported that interest from the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid and Juventus has put Rashford and his advisors in a better negotiating position.

According to The Mirror, the 21-year old feels he should be one of the club's top earners.

But does he deserve such a vast pay rise?

He only scored 10 goals in 33 Premier League appearances last season, and struggled in parts under both Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Jose Mourinho.

Rashford took advantage of his opportunity back in 2016 against FC Midtjylland, scoring twice at Old Trafford in a 5-1 win.

But many believe he has failed to step up another level in recent times.

Thoughts on his new £300k a week deal?
