Bayern Munich's Alphonso Davies has revealed the first player he swapped jerseys with in his career. This comes after Lionel Messi recently snubbed Davies asking to swap jerseys after Bayern dominated Barcelona 8-2.
Alphonso Davies is shooting to the very top of football incredibly fast.
The 19-year-old Canadian has arguably been the best full-back in the world this season and was shown once again in the UEFA Champions League bubble with him putting in amazing performances against Chelsea, Barcelona, and Lyon to take Bayern Munich to the Champions League final.
However, Davies' idol, Lionel Messi, did not enjoy being asked to swap jerseys with him and snubbed the full-back. Davies said that Messi seemed too upset after Bayern had thrashed Barcelona 8-2 in the Champions League quarter-final and Davies hopes he can get it next time they play each other in the future.
Davies created an assist in the game in what could be deemed as the assist of the tournament. He beat four players then cut the ball back to Joshua Kimmich who easily slotted the goal.

Talking to Pro:Direct Soccer, Davies said the first jersey he received after a game was AC Milan goalkeeper, Gianluigi Donnarumma's shirt.
"When i first started playing with Bayern in pre-season. We played against AC Milan, and I got the keeper's shirt. When I was growing up I knew who he was and he's a big dude. He's a year older than me and getting his jersey was a joy for me."
Bayern Munich won the game in pre-season 1-0 on July 24th last summer. Leon Goretzka was the lone scorer in the game with Davies getting his first few games as a full-back rather than a winger.
