Liverpool continue their pre-season this evening with a friendly against Bundesliga side RB Leipzig.
After a comprehensive 4-0 loss against Man United and a 2-0 victory against Crystal Palace, Jürgen Klopp’s side will be looking to generate momentum ahead of their first Premier League fixture against Fulham on Saturday 6th August.
Liverpool have been active during this transfer window.
Darwin Núñez signed from Benfica for an initial fee of €75 million, 18 year old right-back Calvin Ramsay has joined from Aberdeen and Fabio Carvalho recently completed a move to Anfield from Premier League rivals Fulham.

Klopp will be intent on using pre-season fixtures as an opportunity to see how these new signings can be incorporated into the Liverpool side.

First choice goalkeeper Alisson Becker is unavailable due to injury, as is Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Diogo Jota, the latter of which recently suffered a recurrence of a previous hamstring injury during training.
Whilst an official starting Xl is yet to be announced, Mohammed Salah is expected to start and Adrain will be replacing Alisson in goal.
The likes of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil Van Dijk and Jordan Henderson are all expected to make an appearance at some stage in the fixture.
Liverpool fans will be hoping that this fixture kickstarts Darwin Núñez’s season after an ‘underwhelming’ performance against Man United.
As for Leipzig, 36 year old manager Domenico Tedesco will be without defender Josko Gvardiol, striker Yussuf Poulsen and former Everton winger Ademola Lookman, all of whom have been sidelined due to injuries.
