Barcelona Have Made Their First Moves To Erase Neymar From The Club

They aren't messing about...

Neymar's £198 million move to Paris Saint-Germain is happening, and Barcelona have already started to distance themselves from the Brazilian superstar.

Though Neymar is still a Barcelona player at the moment, that is all set to change in the next few days as he finalises his world-record transfer to the French capital, where he is expected to rake in £515,000-a-week after tax.

And Barcelona are not wasting any time in erasing one third of their devastating trident, with the first step in the process being to remove him from the promotional posters on the walls of the Nou Camp.

As noted byThe Mirror, a poster at the home of the Catalan giants, featuring Neymar in the new Barcelona home kit along with several of the Blaugrana's big hitters, has been taken down and replaced with a new one where he is not present.

Gerard Pique, Luis Suarez, Lionel Messi, Andres Iniesta and Sergio Busquets are now on the poster, with Neymar nowhere to be soon ahead of his mammoth move away.

And it appears as though further measures are being taken to forget about Barca's No.11, with Neymar shirts no longer able to be purchased at Barcelona's official stores, as well as a promotional billboard featuring the 25-year old near a shopping centre, and a poster for the upcoming Joan Gamper trophy clash with Chapecoense, also being displaced because of Neymar's presence.

After what seemed like another dodgy transfer story plucked out of thin air, things have just built up and now Neymar will move on to a new challenge in Ligue One.

Neymar has enjoyed a fruitful spell in Spain, winning two La Liga titles, three Copa del Reys, as well as lifting the Champions League in the 2014/15 season.

Having netted an impressive 105 goals from 186 appearances in all competitions, he will now sign for the club he produced arguably his best individual performance against, when he led Barca's incredible Champions League last 16 second leg comeback against PSG by scoring twice and supplying the assist for Sergi Roberto's winning goal against his new employers.
