Neymar admits he 'made a mistake' in public apology to girlfriend Bruna Biancardi
Neymar has apologised to his girlfriend Bruna Biancardi in a statement on Instagram.
Neymar has issued a public apology to his pregnant girlfriend Bruna Biancardi, two months after it was announced that they were expecting their first child together,
The 31-year-old Brazilian forward, who currently plays for Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain, has been dating Biancardi, 28, since 2021, after they met at a party.
Earlier this year, the pair announced their pregnancy by sharing several pictures of Bruna's baby bump.
"We dream about your life, plan your arrival and knowing that you are here to complete our love, makes our days much happier," they said on Instagram.

"You will arrive in a beautiful family, with your brother, grandparents, uncles and aunties who already love you very much!
"Come soon son, we are waiting for you. Before I formed you in the womb I chose you; before you were born I set you apart” – Jeremiah 1:5. [sic]."
Two months later and Neymar has penned an emotional statement on his official Instagram account after 'cheating' reports emerged from Brazilian outlet Em Off.
He wrote: “I made a mistake. I made a mistake with you. I dare say that I make mistakes every day, on and off the pitch. But I solve my mistakes in my personal life at home, in my intimacy with my family and my friends.
"All of this affected one of the most special people in my life. The woman I dreamed of following by my side, the mother of my child.
"It reached her family, which is now my family. This reached its intimacy in such a special moment as motherhood.”
Neymar added: “Bru, I have already apologised for my mistakes, for the useless exposure, but I feel obliged to reaffirm it publicly. If a private matter has gone public, the apology should be made public.
"I can't imagine myself without you. I don't know if it will work between us, but TODAY you can be sure that I want to try. Our purpose will prevail, our love for our baby will prevail, our love for each other will strengthen us.”
He ended the message by saying: "ALWAYS US. I love you ❤️."
