Kylian Mbappe produced a brilliant reaction after watching Neymar’s stunning free-kick attempt during the warmup before Paris Saint Germain’s clash against Reims.

On Sunday evening, French Ligue 1 table toppers PSG were hoping to widen their lead at the summit after second-placed side Lens dropped points against Troyes.

The Parisian club were also searching for their first league win since 11 January after they lost their last Ligue 1 match against Rennes.

During the warmup, the PSG stars were practising free-kicks and as Brazil star Neymar netted with a stunner, Mbappe reacted brilliantly. You can watch his reaction below.

Mbappe nodded his head in approval after witnessing a piece of magic from Neymar.

However, they were not able to replicate that kind of pinpoint accuracy during the match as PSG were held by Reims.

Neymar had notched PSG in front after 51 minutes but they were denied all three points right at the death by on-loan Arsenal striker Florian Balogun, who scored in the sixth minute of injury time.

As a result of the draw, PSG’s lead over Lens at the top of Ligue 1 is now only three points.

After the match, manager Christophe Galtier insisted that he is not worried about PSG’s recent form.

He said: “Worried no, disappointed yes. We are not going to hide behind the post-World Cup calendar.

“It's been a few weeks since our performances were not at the same level as in the first part of the season. We must work, we must find solutions, and reconnect.

“A crisis of confidence? I don't think so. Maybe a crisis of complacency, all the demands we had.

“It went haywire for different reasons. It's hard to restart. I have high-level players who cannot accept to be at this level since the beginning of 2023.”

PSG are next in action on Wednesday night as they take on Montpellier.
