A new report has detailed how much RB Leipzig want for wantaway midfielder Xavi Simons after a number of clubs, including Chelsea and Arsenal, expressed an interest in the player.
Simons, who joined Leizpig from Paris Saint-Germain in January following an 18-month loan spell at the Red Bull Arena, has informed the German club of his desire to leave after they missed out on Champions League football.
The 22-year-old has been persistently linked with joining a Premier League club in recent transfer windows, with Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United all been credited with an interest.

Bayern Munich are also said to be keen – particularly after the Bundesliga holders missed out on the signing of Florian Wirtz to Liverpool – but a report from BILD suggests Simons will turn down that approach as he prefers a move to England.
In fact, the report claims the player's agent and advisor, Ali Barat, will approach Chelsea over a possible transfer. Barat memorably brokered Chelsea’s £115 million deal to sign Moises Caicedo from Brighton in 2023.
Now, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has delivered an update regarding Simons' situation.
After claiming a deal is "expected to develop soon" after Simons made it clear that he wanted to leave in May, Romano confirmed that the Netherlands international will be able to leave for under €70 million [£60.5m] this summer.

He also added that Chelsea and Arsenal remain interested alongside Bayern Munich.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, Romano went into further detail about Chelsea's ongoing interest, adding: “Xavi Simons is a player Chelsea really like and appreciate internally."
Back in April, Simons opened up on his future amid interest from the Premier League.
“I’m still a young player, I have many dreams – and the club knows that,” he told Sky Germany. “But right now, the most important thing for me is to play well in the upcoming games. Then we have the international matches, and after that we’ll sit down and see what happens.”
