Former Manchester City and Chelsea star Raheem Sterling has been arrested on suspicion of drug driving after crashing his car.
The Sun revealed that Sterling was arrested by Hampshire Police on Thursday morning after his Lamborghini collided with motorway barriers near the Minley Interchange on the M3.
Police pulled the ex England forward over and took him into custody on suspicion of driving a vehicle while unfit through drugs, driving dangerously, possession of a Class C drug, and failing to provide a specimen.
The incident happened at around 9am and Sterling was later released on bail, with enquiries continuing.

Hampshire Police issued a statement to The Sun, commenting: "Just before 9am on Thursday, we received reports that a Lamborghini was in collision with barriers on the M3 southbound, close to the Minley Interchange.
“No other vehicles were involved and no injuries were reported.
“The driver, a 31-year-old man, from Berkshire, has been arrested on suspicion of driving a vehicle whilst unfit through drugs, driving dangerously, possession of a Class C drug and failing to provide a specimen. He has been bailed while our enquiries continue.”
In the UK, Class C drugs include nitrous oxide and GHB, while tranquilisers such as valium and steroids also fall under the category.
There has been no information released on the substance Sterling is alleged to have been in possession of.
Having burst onto the scene as a top talent with Liverpool aged 17, Sterling won four Premier League titles with Manchester City after a £49 million in 2015.
He left for Chelsea in 2022 after being unhappy with his game-time and spent time on loan at Arsenal in the 2024/25 campaign.

Scorer of 123 Premier League goals, he found himself completely frozen out by Chelsea and after an extended period in limbo where he was forced to train by himself, his contract was terminated by mutual consent in January.
Sterling then signed a short-term deal with Eredivisie side Feyenoord, making eight appearances but failing to find the net as the Rotterdam outfit finished second to leaders PSV Eindhoven.
He has been capped 82 times by England, scoring 20 goals and featuring at multiple major tournaments.
However, the 31-year-old has not featured since the quarter-final loss to France at the 2022 World Cup.
Sterling's deal with Feyenoord expired at the end of the 2025/26 season and there is no word as to whether he will extend his stay at De Kuip.
