A study has revealed the ten 'most talked about' Premier League pundits of all time, featuring Roy Keane, Gary Neville and Michael Owen.

Research carried out by betting tips website Smartbettingguide analysed a list of 214 Premier League pundits, commentators and presenters to establish the most talked about individual.

An average monthly volume of Google searches was combined with eight popular search terms, including ‘best commentary’ and ‘match analyses’.

So who came out on top? Thierry Henry, known for his punditry appearances on CBS Sports and Amazon Prime Video, leads the list with a monthly average of 637,844 searches globally.

In fact, the former Arsenal and Barcelona forward receives more searches monthly than Ian Wright, Alan Shearer and Michael Owen combined.

Roy Keane, a regular on the Sky Sports panel, features in second with an average of 443,838 monthly searches.

The former Manchester United midfielder is also hugely popular on video sharing website TikTok. The #roykeane tag has picked up a hefty 1.2 billion views, while #roykeanesavage received 33.9 million views at the time of writing.

So who gets the bronze medal? Peter Crouch is said to average 386,106 searches per month on Google, according to the study.

Crouch, who appears on TNT Sports and hosts That Peter Crouch Podcast alongside Chris Stark, is another former Premier League player who has become synonymous with going viral since entering the punditry and podcast space.
