Leroy Sane has made it clear which club he wants to join next as he looks to leave Bayern Munich amid links to several Premier Links.

In just five days, the January transfer window will open, allowing clubs from across the Premier League and abroad a buy and sell player to strengthen their squads for the second half of the season.

Several big names could secure a move during the month, including Bayern Munich star Sane who has been linked with a transfer ahead of his contract with the German club expiring this summer.

And should he decide to leave the Bundesliga giants, the forward has already reportedly decided exactly what club he wants to play for next.

According to Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo, Arsenal and Manchester United are interested in signing the 28-year-old, but Liverpool are the most likely destination for Sane within the Premier League.

However, it is not an English club that Sane himself has expressed a desire to join, as the former Manchester City player is reportedly eager to sign for La Liga giants Barcelona.

Although interest remains from the Premier League clubs, as well as several sides in Serie A and the Saudi Pro League, it would be Sane's preference to wear the Blaugrana shirt.

The German's desire to join the Spanish side is likely due to the strong relationship that he enjoys with current Barcelona manager Hansi Flick, who he played under during Flick's time in the Bayern Munich dugout.

While playing under the German manager, Sane scored 10 goals and assisted 12 in 44 games.

However, Sane has not been able to replicate this form in the 2024/25 season so far, as he has just five goals and one assist in 19 appearances across all competitions this season.

Despite this, Bayern Munich are still reportedly keen to extend his stay at the Allianz Arena past this summer, though this remains unlikely.
