In the second-half, Man United fans felt they should have been awarded a penalty when Rasmus Hojlund was bundled over by Ruben Dias, with Mike Dean's comment confusing fans on social media.

But the visitors were awarded a penalty moments later when Amad was taken out by Matheus Nunes in the box.

Bruno Fernandes made no mistake from the spot as he converted to level proceedings.

In the 90th minute, Amad produced a moment of magic to put his side in the lead.

After his heroics, the 22-year-old was replaced but he re-entered the pitch following the final whistle.

He immediately ran over to Pep Guardiola to shake his hands in a classy gesture.

The star forward also shook the hands of every Man City player before celebrating Man United's big win with their travelling support.

Gary Neville praised Amad for his full-time gesture.

"He’s a real class act on and off the pitch Amad Diallo," he said on commentary. "He has just gone and shaken every single Manchester City players' hand at the end of the game."
