Manchester United fans once again tortured Alejandro Garnacho when he was introduced as a first-half substitute for Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening.
Garnacho joined Chelsea from United for £40million during the summer transfer window and would go on to face his former club less than a month later in an unhappy reunion at Old Trafford.
Having made his debut for his new side against Brentford and then being heavily criticised by Chelsea fans for his performance against Bayern Munich in the Champions League, Garnacho was then taunted throughout the Blues' 2-1 defeat at United despite remaining an unused substitute.
Indeed, the United fans had been chanting at Garnacho before the game had been kicked off - and then throughout the game, in particular whenever he stepped off the subs bench to warm up.

Reviving the same ruthless chant they used to sing against Carlos Tevez, who left United to sign for cross-city rivals Manchester City in 2009, fans chanted: "Who’s that tw*t from Argentina? Who’s that money-grabbing w**re? Garnacho is his name and he hasn’t got a brain, and he won’t be winning trophies anymore!"
It wasn't, of course, true of Tevez, who would go on to win a Premier League and FA Cup with City as power shifted from red to blue, and it may not be true of Garnacho either, with Chelsea in the semi-finals of the FA Cup.
United fans were certainly feeling as though they were having the last laugh at half-time of the game at Stamford Bridge, however, with Matheus Cunha's goal just before the interval giving them a 1-0 lead in a game that could see them move 10 points clear of the hosts in the battle for Champions League places.
Garnacho again started on the bench but was introduced after just 16 minutes when Estevao Willian was forced off with an injury. And the United fans wasted no time in reminding the Argentine what they think of him, booing him on to the field and quickly breaking into the chant.
Garnacho came through United's youth academy following his move from Atletico Madrid and would go on to play 144 games for the first team, scoring 26 goals and winning the FA Cup and Carabao Cup.
He has so far scored only one goal in the Premier League for Chelsea and will be desperately hoping to add a second against his former club to help Liam Rosenior's side back into the game.
