But attention has already turned to next season, with the fixtures for the 2023/24 Premier League campaign released on Thursday morning.

LIVERPOOL COULD LOSE SALAH FOR CRUCIAL GAMES
Liverpool could lose Mohamed Salah for crucial games against Chelsea and Arsenal due to the Africa Cup of Nations, which is due to take place in the Ivory Coast from January 13 to February 11.
It could rule Salah out of games against Chelsea (January 31) and Arsenal (February 3).
In total, he could miss up to five league games should Egypt reach the final.
MAN UTD FACE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE HEADACHE
Manchester United will have to face Liverpool and Manchester City immediately after matches in the Champions League.
They host City on October 28, days after Matchday 3 in the Champions League.
Later in the season, Erik ten Hag's side travel to Anfield on December 16 days after their final group game in Europe.

One such leak has Liverpool and Manchester United both playing newly-promoted sides on the opening day.
But fans have spotted a potential flaw with the fixtures.
WHEN DOES THE SEASON START?
The 2023/24 Premier League season will get underway on August 12 and conclude nine months later on May 19, 2024.
The start is one week later than the 2022/23 launch as the schedule returns to normal.
Last season started earlier and finished later than usual as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic and the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
As was the case in the 2022/23 campaign, there will be a mid-season player break which will take place between January 13-20.
