Incredible scenes...

Paul Pogba led the France World Cup winning squad into a rendition of their new N'Golo Kante song outside the French Presidential Palace in Paris and the scenes were just wonderful.

After beating Croatia 4-2 in the final to win their second World Cup, the French players returned home to a heroes welcome and subsequent victory parade through the capital.

And when celebrating their success at the famous Élysée Palace, Pogba grabbed the mic and couldn't help but serenade his selfless midfield colleague Kante with the tune that the Les Bleus' squad has come up with for him.

Manager Didier Deschamps also joined in and got a beaming smile from the Chelsea man.

The players had been singing the chant on the bus after Sunday's triumph on Moscow. Translated into English, the lyrics are: "N'Golo Kanté, he is small, he is nice, he shut down Lionel Messi."

The 27-year old has had an incredible first World Cup campaign but remains humble as ever.

He's a two-time Premier League winner, and a PFA Player of the Year award recipient but Kante hasn't changed one bit despite his rise from Ligue 2 player to World Cup winner.

In fact, a video shows Steven Nzonzi asking Florian Thauvin to hand the trophy to Kante after the game because he was too shy to ask for it.

He drives a Mini Cooper to training, he looked like the happiest man on earth when pictured riding a bike before the World Cup and he couldn't be less interested in the spotlight.

You just cannot dislike N'Golo Kante. My hero, my mate.
