Real Madrid and Manchester City have been advised to sign Kieran Tierney by Charlie Adam who says the Arsenal star is worth around £50 million.

Tierney has emerged as one of the bright spots for Arsenal amid an underwhelming Premier League campaign.

The Scotland international has played 23 league games this season, scoring one goal as he has enhanced his reputation as a budding left-back.

His performances for the Gunners has impressed former Liverpool man Adam who reckons the 23-year-old is ready to sign for one of Europe's elite clubs in the summer.

He said: "Would it surprise me if a Real Madrid, a Man City or any of the clubs in the top echelons come in for him in the summer?

"I think he's ready now. He's 23, he signed for Arsenal injured and was out for a spell with groin and shoulders problems."

Adam added: "But he's come back and has matured into a top player. I believe he can go to the next level again. You're starting at £50m too."

Unfortunately for Mikel Arteta and Arsenal fans, Tierney could miss the rest of the season after suffering a knee injury against Liverpool.

As for the ex-Celtic player signing for Man City or Real - well, Pep Guardiola is no stranger to splashing the cash on defenders and Zinedine Zidane could probably do with some defensive recruitments.

Will Tierney leave the Emirates any time soon? Let us know what you think.
