Jose Mourinho's brief time in charge at Manchester United has been frustrating for the Portuguese manager, thus far, with his team proving to be far too profligate in front of goal, costing them several vital Premier League points. Now, the United boss wants to add more firepower to rectify the situation.
United were wasteful once again today, during a 1-1 draw with West Ham - their fourth successive league stalemate at Old Trafford. But despite having the likes of Ibrahimovic, Pogba, Mata, Mkhitaryan, Rashford, Martial and Rooney at his disposal, Mourinho is still rumoured to want West Ham's Dimitri Payet and Atletico Madrid's Yannick Carrasco.

The Mirror are reporting that Mourinho is in search of a wide man and sees both Payet and Carrasco as perfect fits and may even make moves for both players. However, neither will come cheap, with West Ham expecting to demand at least £35m for Payet, with the 29-year-old only recently signing a new contract with the Hammers.

Young Belgian winger Carrasco, meanwhile, who is flourishing at the Vicente Calderon under the guidance of Diego Simeone, could cost even more than Payet, although as has been evident in the last few transfer windows, money seemingly matters little to the United board when operating in the transfer market, nowadays.
