Peterborough United star Jack Marriott is having a stunning individual season which is furthered by the fact that in the whole of the four tiers, only Mohamed Salah has a better goal involvement this season.
After his winner against Crystal Palace on Saturday, Salah now has 29 Premier League goals for the season, as well as nine assists.
The Egyptian has well and truly been in a league of his own in his second spell in English football, but two leagues below, 23-year old Marriott is also having a storming season.
The former Luton Town striker has 25 goals and five assists to his name for fifth-placed Posh and has attracted interest from Championship clubs due to his excellent form.
He's on 31 goals in all competitions and has reached that tally in just 52 games - his latest strike coming in the 2-0 win over local rival, Northampton Town, his boyhood club, on Monday.
Marriott, who was described as "the best goalscorer I have ever worked with" by his manager Steve Evans, will surely have plenty of clubs sniffing around him in the summer transfer window.
