By now we're well aware that Kylian Mbappe is an absolute speed demon, but seeing him turn into Usain Bolt to win a penalty for France in the round of 16 clash with Argentina was absolutely incredible.

The PSG phenomenon turned on the jets in his own half, marauding up the pitch and breezing past Argentina players en route to Argentina's penalty area.

Marcos Rojo, the hero in Argentina's last game, tried his best to keep up with the Les Bleus' No.10, but was quite clearly fighting a losing battle.

The Manchester United defender clumsily brought the 19-year old down in the box for a clear penalty, which was coolly dispatched by Antoine Griezmann 13 minutes in.

Cristiano Ronaldo, one of Mbappe's idols, has been recorded as the fastest player in this year's World Cup so far, but something tells us that the five-time Ballon d'Or might just be getting pipped by the 2017 Golden Boy winner.
