Bride Hires Choir To Sing Champions League Anthem At Wedding To Surprise Husband

It's finally back. The UEFA Champions League will return to our screens on Tuesday night, so to get in the mood for this evening's festivities, let's remember the ultimate gesture of love from a dream wedding day.

The year is 2012 and Catalan couple Marcos and Neus are getting married. It's a joyous day for everyone involved, but things truly peaked in this couple's ceremony when Neus decided to pull out the most incredible trump card.

The bride decided to hire the Renaissance Choir of Sant Boi de Llobregat to perform the iconic Champions League anthem for her shocked husband. No, seriously - check out the clip below.

The look on Marcus' face says it all.

Two minutes into what is a spine-tingling performance from the supremely talented Renaissance Choir, the groom punches the air and mouths the words to its iconic tune. He definitely enjoyed that one

To be fair, If you haven't placed your hands behind your back and belted out the Tony Britten composed Champions League song as your family looks on with a hint of embarrassment and regret, then something is seriously wrong

Just ask five-time Ballon d'Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo, who got so pumped up with the trademark track in October 2017 before a game against Spurs that he couldn't help but sing it as though it was the national anthem.

The official UCL anthem has been voted by fans all over the world as their ultimate UEFA Champions League moment after UEFA asked players and fans alike to outline what makes a Champions League night under the lights so special.

More than 75,000 supporters and some of the biggest names in this season's competition had their say on the result.

You can't not get in the zone when 'The Champions' blasts out over the tannoy but when you actually read up on the lyrics when translated, it takes it down a peg. It's a tad underwhelming to be honest.

BT Sport have both kindly provided the words here.

We still love it, though.
