Amad Diallo made an immediate impact for Manchester United against AC Milan as a compilation has highlighted his brilliant performance at Old Trafford on Thursday.

VAR stepped in early on and denied Franck Kessie a sensational opener for Milan in the first leg of the Europa League clash.

United could have taken the lead before half-time, but Red Devils skipper Harry Maguire failed to convert from close range in one of the most extraordinary misses of the season.

Anthony Martial made way for Diallo as the 18-year-old Ivorian winger made his third appearance for United.

Diallo has already been placed in high expectations amongst United supporters since his £19m arrival from Atalanta in January.

The United player wasted no time in rewarding Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's faith in him as he raced onto an exquisite chipped pass by Bruno Fernandes.

Diallo then looped the ball over Gianluigi Donnarumma with a stunning header, only five minutes after coming on for Martial.

A compilation has now showcased the former Atalanta winger's performance in the second half as United fans now believe they have a "proper right winger."

Solskjaer praised Diallo after the match, but he insisted that the United youngster has "lots to learn and he'll be better off from having that."

The United boss told BT Sport: "He's creative. He plays with freedom.

"A great pass by Bruno [Fernandes], by the way, that's of course what makes the goal.

"Amad, he's been on the pitch before, but nice goal. He's got lots to learn and he'll be better off from having that."

Diallo's header was dampened by Simon Kjaer pulling back a late equaliser for Milan and securing a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford.

United and Milan's second-leg round-of-16 clash will take place at the San Siro on 18th March.
