Sergio Ramos almost fainted after Vinicius Junior missed a gilt-edged chance for Real Madrid in the Champions League.

Vinicius nearly scored one of the goals of the season during his side's 3-1 victory over Atalanta on Tuesday.

He went on a mazy run, which started from deep, and skipped past a few players before being through on goal.

Though after weaving his way through Atalanta's defence, the Brazilian star fluffed his lines in front of goal - agonisingly hitting the ball wide.

The youngster couldn't believe it, Karim Benzema was left with his head in his hands while Ramos also cut a shocked figure.

The Real captain hit the deck in disbelief as he bemoaned the missed opportunity.

Ramos' hilarious reaction and Vinicius' shocking miss sent social media into overdrive.

Vinicius' miss did not prove crucial as the Spanish giants booked their place in the next round of the Champions League.

They beat the Serie A side 4-1 on aggregate as they await their quarter-final opponents.
