Vinicius Junior has produced a moment of magic to open the scoring for Real Madrid against Manchester City.

The Champions League semi-final first leg tie burst into life when the Brazilian forward scored a stunning goal.

Eduardo Camavinga, who's operating at left-back, created an opening on the wing before driving with the ball.

He picked out Vinicius Jr, who let the ball role to his right foot before unleashing a thunderous strike into the back of the net.

Needless to say, the 22-year-old's special goal sent social media wild.

One Twitter user claimed: "The best in the world. I won’t hear any different."

A second wrote: "What a goal that is."

A third added: "Nah I can’t stop watching this Vinicius Junior goal. THAT IS INSANE."

Gary Lineker tweeted: "Stunning goal from Vinicius Junior. Such a talent."

Another said: "VINICIUS JUNIOR IS SPECIAL."

Vinicius Jr has now scored seven goals in this season's Champions League and is the third youngest South American player to reach that landmark in the competition.

Only Lionel Messi and Rodrygo Goes have scored 15 Champions League goals quicker than him.
