Manchester City are officially the Premier League leaders this evening after they managed to secure all three points at Goodison Park.

Guardiola's side have pounced on Liverpool's disappointing result on Monday night, when Jurgen Klopp's side could only record a draw against West Ham, and go top after a 2-0 victory against Everton.

Aymeric Laporte's glancing header in the 45th minute and Gabriel Jesus' injury time strike meant that Pep Guardiola's side are ahead of title rivals Liverpool in the league standings with a plus seven goal difference.

As mentioned previously, Liverpool's push for their first Premier League title in 29 years took another frustrating hit on Monday after Jurgen Klopp's side could only record a draw against West Ham.

Sadio Mane opened the scoring thanks to a magnificent piece of skill from Adam Lallana in the build up to the goal.

But replays showed the goal shouldn't have counted.

Liverpool's James Milner was standing in an offside position when Lallana offloaded the ball, but their lead didn't last long.

Michail Antonio leveled the scoring just six minutes later as his shot deflected off the post and into the net.

Who will win the Premier League title this season? Can Liverpool come back and secure their first league win in 29 years?
