Granit Xhaka Tells Arsenal Fans To "F**k Off" As He's Substituted
Granit Xhaka appeared to tell Arsenal fans to "f**k off" after he was booed by his own supporters during their Premier League fixture against Crystal Palace.
Xhaka was substituted in the 61st minute to thunderous boos and he responded by gesturing then cupping his ears to the home crowd.
He then whipped off his shirt before furiously walking down the tunnel.

Here's how social media reacted to the Xhaka incident.
This feels like a landmark moment for Xhaka and #afc fans. His substitution is greeted by cheers, he's then booed as he walks off (instead of running with the score at 2-2). He then cups his ear to the crowd, shouts "f*** off", takes his shirt off and walks down the tunnel.

Huge cheers as Xhaka is subbed. He's walking off rather than running, crowd are fuming and he then signals angrily to them. Wow.

Granit Xhaka substituted to thunderous applause (not of appreciation) and he stupidly responds to fans who want to get off more quickly. He strips his shirt off and goes straight down the tunnel.

Arsenal fans also had their say on their club captain.
Emery is partially responsible for that Xhaka incident tbh. Starts him every game even when he's been shit, Xhaka makes more mistakes, fans get on his back and Emery still persists with him. This situation is not helping anyone. It's Sarri and Jorginho part two. #AFC #ARSCRY

Do feel a bit for Xhaka, he's not not trying, he's being exposed by a manager who is managing every facet of the club badly. But, get the absolute fuck off the pitch immediately when it's 2-2 and your team needs a goal.

Xhaka gets subbed off and receives boos. Our 'club captain' then cups his ear, tells the fans to "fuck off" and proceeds to takes off his shirt and walk straight down the tunnel.

Wow. Xhaka subbed for another poor performance - so responds by telling Arsenal fans to 'f*ck off', ripping his shirt off & storming down the tunnel.
And this is supposed to be our CAPTAIN?
What an absolute disgrace.
He should be stripped of the captaincy tonight. #afc pic.twitter.com/iCGxOl9scv

Arsenal squandered a two-goal as Palace hit back to draw 2-2 on Sunday. Sokratis Papastathopoulos gave the hosts an early lead before David Luiz doubled their advantage.
Palace pulled one back through Luka Milivojević (penalty) and then drew level thanks to Jordan Ayew.
Sokratis thought he had scored the winner in the 83rd minute but his goal was disallowed by VAR.
