His transfer rounds off an impressive window for Arsenal who've recruited smartly this summer.
But the Ghanaian midfielder could well be the shrewdest piece of business based on his past performances for 'Atleti' including his superb showing versus Liverpool last season.
The 27-year-old performed brilliantly in the middle of the park, breaking up play and setting up attacks.
Partey's then side went onto beat the Reds 3-2 at Anfield to secure a spot in the next round.
Mikel Arteta, meanwhile, is delighted to add a "high-quality" player in Partey to his squad for the 2020/21 season.
