After scoring twice and setting up another on his Premier League 2 debut in a 6-3 win over Liverpool last week, the young Ivorian was in fine form again on Friday evening.
Making his home debut against Blackburn Rovers, the highly-rated 18-year-old winger scored one and registered a hat-trick of assists in a thrilling 6-4 victory.
Striker Shola Shoretire also had a stormer, bagging a hat-trick as United came from 4-2 down to win.
Playing on the fight flank and cutting in on his left foot, Diallo was breathtakingly brilliant and linked up with Hannibal Mejbri in glorious fashion.
The following clip of the pair's combination play late on has got United fans seriously excited.
After securing a work permit Diallo joined United from Atalanta for an initial £19 million - rising to £37 million.
Speaking about his arrival last month, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said: "I'm very excited about bringing him in. I think he's shown a few times his qualities.
"Of course he has to learn to play in England, that's a different level of football. We'll give him time to develop and to express himself."
More recently, Solskjaer talked about slotting Diallo into his squad on the right flank.
"That's his preferred position," the United boss added.
"He is good at finding space, he can go inside and outside and he will get the time to prove that he is the one.
"Along the way we have got Mason, Marcus [Rashford], Daniel [James], Juan [Mata] and Paul [Pogba] has played there, so we have options but I think when you look at the squad and you look at Amad and you think, yeah, that's probably where we will work to fit you in."
Diallo has already made a huge impression on his teammates in training, with Mason Greenwood calling him "a wonderful technical player".
