A 'Manchester United fan' has said he might start supporting Liverpool after Sunday's 2-0 defeat at Anfield.

It was United's seventh Premier League defeat of the campaign and led to #OleOut trending on Twitter yet again after the result left the Red Devils 30 points behind their bitter rivals.

And it was too much for one supporter, who called into a radio phone-in last night to air his thoughts.

'Joe' went as far as saying he was thinking about scrapping his United season ticket and instead switching allegiance to the dark side because he "can't stand it anymore".

"I'm giving up my Man United season ticket," he said speaking to presenter Danny Kelly and former Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan on talkSPORT:

"I can't stand it anymore. I can't stand it. Solskjaer is a fraud. He doesn't have a clue what he's doing.

"I'm considering going on the waiting list at Anfield. I don't care about all that anymore. We don't even have a player that's half as handsome as Van Dijk."

You see so many bizarre calls and opinions on talkSPORT but this one might just take the cake. Though it's worth noting the legitimacy of it is very, very questionable given some of the daft stuff spewed in just 50 seconds.

Changing your football team is simply criminal but these days it's also not that uncommon in modern football, while the same can be said when it comes to someone supporting two teams.

A study from COPA 90 found that 46% of 16-24 year olds in the UK support at least two football clubs, with 27% supporting three or more teams.
